William Shatner is no longer a member of Google's new social platform after bosses shut down his account.
The Star Trek legend is a keen web user, regulary updating his Twitter account and he even founded his own networking site, MyOuterSpace.com, for sci-fi fans.
But he had issues with cyberspace on Monday after trying to use Google's new social networking forum, Google+, when his profile was allegedly deleted for 'violating standards'/
He took to his Twitter to explain to his 646,327 followers: "My Google+ account was flagged for violating standards. Saying hello to everyone apparently is against the rules maybe I should say goodbye?"
However, bosses at Google+ obvioulsy saw the tweet, and reinstated the profile with immediate effect. He writes on his + profile: "I am back plusers. I still do not know what happened but I will refrain from saying hello again for a while just in case. My best, Bill."
