The Barbadian singer who has been a long-time protege to Jay-Z, was hospitalised in New York City last week after partying at the MET Gala.
"Jay-Z and Beyonce are obviously worried - they want her where they can keep an eye on her."
Rihanna's recent hospital trip has sparked concern among those around her - who fear hectic lifestyle may be taking its toll on her health.
Beyonce and Jay-Z are said to be considerng moving the star into their New York home to set her on "the right path".
"Rihanna thinks she can go wild at parties, then wake up fine the next day. But clearly she can't. Hopefully the shock of ending up in hospital will be a wake-up call," a source told Closer.
"Jay-Z and Beyonce are obviously worried - they want her where they can keep an eye on her."
The couple whose daughter Blue was born in January are reportedly determined to straighten out the wayward singer.
"Rumours circling at Roc Nation (Jay-Z's record label who manages Rihanna) are that she's becoming harder to handle, but Jay-Z has stood by her from day one. He's pleaded with her to clean up her act and Beyonce is keen to help - even suggesting Rihanna needs a 'good man', the insider added.
The Carter family are not the only people worried about Rihanna. The singer's mother Monica Fenty is said to be keeping track of her whereabouts in a bid to end her party-hard ways.
"Monica's moving in to keep an eye on her. Rihanna's dad, Ronald, was a crack addict. Monica's refusing to let her go down that path," The Sun reports.
