Ricki Lake is enaged to wed her boyfriend after a year of dating.
The Hairspray and former talk show host began dating Christian Evans last summer and she revealed on Thursday that they are now planning to exchange vows.
Lake broke the news to fans by posting a photo of the happy couple on her Twitter page and writing: "Thrilled to share some happy news with you... I'm engaged!"
The 42 year old has been outspoke about her love for Evans and recently gushed: "I'm totally in love. I'm happier than I've ever been."
Lake divorces artist Rob Sussman, the father of her two sons Milo, 14, and Owen, 10, in 2003 after 10 years of marriage.
