JLS claim cross-dressing made them respect women more.

The 'She Makes Me Wanna' singers have admitted they've dressed up in female clothing numerous times "for work", and can't understand how girls manage to dance in high heels.

Marvin Humes said:"We've had to dress up as women. Full on heels, boobs, bra and tights."

Bandmate Aston Merrygold added: "We've had to dress up for shoots and TV shows, and I mean bras underneath and everything. I've got a new-found respect for women who go out in heels.

"Especially girls who dance in their heels, like The Saturdays! They have the utmost respect from me, because I couldn't even walk in them"

The boy band - which also includes Oritse Williams and J.B. Gill - also revealed they often receive strange gifts from fans, including dirty male underwear.

Marvin, who is set to wed The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman this summer, told the new issue of We Love Pop! magazine: "Once we got some stained boxer shorts someone wanted us to sign. And sometimes people send hair to us. It's very strange!"

Ortise added: "I've received thongs from girls, too! Used ones..."
