Gwyneth Paltrow is seriously considering recording an album after pals Beyonce and Jay-Z urged her to hit the studio.
The Oscar winner, who is also married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has tasted chart success as a musician thanks to singing roles in TV show Glee and films Duets and Country Song, but she has never recorded a whole album of material.
She tells USA Today: "Beyonce and Jay think that I should just go do it by myself. That I should go... in a studio and see what happens. And if it's good, do it. And if it's not, don't So that's probably what I'll do."
But she won't be asking her husband for any help or advice: "(He's) a musical genius. It's like living with Picasso, and being like, 'Should I make a little something-something?'"
Gwyneth delighted fans last week when she posted on Twitter: "Who do I have to bang to get an advance copy of the new @coldplay album? I mean, really."
Gwyneth also performed at the Grammay's with Cee-Lo Green and has previously spoke of how she studied Beyonce's performances for inspiration because of the stage presence she has.
