Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is finally overcoming his longheld fear of spiders so he can enjoy a dream holiday in Australia.
Grint's movie alter-ego Ron Weasley is terrified of arachnids, and the actor shares the phobia with his onscreen character, but the 22 year old is now tackling the problem so he can go Down Under on holiday.
He tells Attitude magazine, "I'm arachnophobic. It's really affected my life. I check my shoes every time I put them on. I check my bed sheets and pillows. I'm going to Australia in a few weeks. I've never been before. Spiders have always stopped me."
