Chantelle Houghton is "really upset" after walking out on Alex Reid.

The reality TV star - who is eight months pregnant - has quit the couple's £600,000 house to go back to her two-bedroom flat, where she has been sleeping on the floor because there is no bed, and she admits it has been a "difficult" time especially as she is nearing the end of her pregnancy.

She said: "You might have read reports saying that I am sleeping at my flat while Alex has been at our house. This is true and I have very good reason for that but I don't want to go into any more detail because it's extremely raw right now.

"It's been a really upsetting and difficult week for me and not the best thing to have to go through when I'm so close to having the baby."

Chantelle thinks she looks "terrible" at the moment and the former 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner feels "done in" having to carry a baby around amid all her and Alex's woes.

She added in her column for new! magazine: "I'm sure you've seen the recent pictures of me looking terrible. I feel done in! I'm not saying I'm an oil painting, but for the first time I'm going out without make-up on and I look like I feel."
