50 Cent is reportedly planning to seek sole custody of his and Daphne Joy’s son Sire after she was named as an alleged sex worker in a $30 million sexual assault lawsuit against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
The 48-year-old rapper – born Curtis Jackson III – dated OnlyFans model Daphne, 37, from 2011 to 2012 and they split shortly after now-12-year-old Sire’s birth.
A source has now told Us Weekly 50 Cent, who also shares son Marquise, 27, with his ex Shaniqua Tompkins, 48: “Given the latest developments and news of Daphne Joy’s involvement in the Diddy lawsuit, 50 is going for sole custody of his son.”
Music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones accused Daphne of being a sex worker involved in Combs’ alleged sex-trafficking ring in court documents.
He said in his $30 million lawsuit against Combs – which he filed in February and again this week with extensive amendments – the rapper had “bragged about” paying a “monthly stipend” to three women for sex work, including Daphne.
When 50 Cent learned his ex, along with Combs’ former lover Yung Miami, 30, and model Jade Ramey, 29, had been mentioned in the court papers, he reacted to the news on Instagram using a photo of himself smoking a cigar in the rain.
He captioned his post: “I didn’t know you was a sex worker, you little sex worker. LOL. Yo this (mess) is a movie.”
‘Lil Rod’ worked with Combs on his latest album, and is suing the music mogul for allegedly sexually assaulting him.
His suit also claims the rapper-turned-entrepreneur used a man named Brendan Paul as his drug mule.
Paul was arrested earlier this week as federal agents raided two of former Ciroc owner Combs’ homes.
Shawn Holley – Combs’ attorney at the time Rodney’s lawsuit was first filed – has branded the producer a “liar”.
He said: “We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr Blackburn refuses to return our calls.
“We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”
