Messi has been cleared of any wrongdoing by prosecutors in Catalunya this week as charges relate to a stage in the Argentina international's career when he was too young to handle his own finances.

As such, Jorge Messi is facing a hefty fine and possible imprisonment if found guilty of plotting to defraud tax authorities of 4m euros.
A statement from the prosecutors office read: "It is not plausible to think that his unawareness of events was intentional, or carried out seeking to defraud the Public Treasury."
According to reports, Messi could be asked to testify in the case against his father.
