Better Business For Female Entrepreneurs
Everywoman co-founder offers some valuable advice to female entrepreneurs in latest Webinar.
Small Business Week 2007 is a week-long campaign dedicated to championing the 4.5million-plus small enterprises in the UK. The week, which will begin with a launch event at BT Tower, brings together small businesses from across the country, independent business organisations, Government agencies, regional influencers and media and aims to better understand the triggers and barriers to long-term success for the SME community.
The week's key activities include a series of webinars that will offer advice and insight to small businesses from some of the sector's key influencers.
This webinar is called Better Business For Female Entrepreneurs and takes a look at the most successful female entrepreneurs. Maxine Benson, co-founder of everywoman, Julie White, MD of Truly Madly Baby and Beatriz Butsana-Sita, Director of Business Sales at BT Business are the guests to discuss how to overcome the barriers frequently experienced by women in business.
There are roughly 620,000 majority women owned businesses in the UK, making it the fastest growing section of the UK's small businesses. Why is this the case? How have things changed for women in business? What challenges remain? Find out more in the webinar.
