Bring Up the Bodies, Hilary Mantel
Tomorrow is the Women’s Prize for Fiction awards ceremony and Amazon.co.uk has revealed that British authors Kate Atkinson and Hilary Mantel are at the top of the Kindle store list of nominations which was based on the sales since the shortlist was announced back in the middle of April.
Kate Atkinson’s ‘Life After Life’ and Hilary Mantel’s ‘Bring Up the Bodies’ have totalled at 78% of the total Kindle book sales of the Women’s Prize for Fiction nominees.
We, however cannot get complacent yet, as US author Barbara Kingsolver’s novel ‘Flight Behaviour’ has seen the greatest increase in sales of all six titles since the shortlist was announced. The novel saw a 335% uplift in sales in the Kindle Store at Amazon.co.uk. Reviews from Kindle customers are describing it as ‘her best yet’ and ‘a must read’.

Hilary Mantel’s ‘Bring Up the Bodies’ is a historical novel set in 1535, which focuses on one of the most frightening moments in our history.
Barbara Kingsolver’s novel ‘Flight Behaviour’ delves into subjects such as class, poverty and climate change.
