It is true, I hear, in America, I fear,
that in certain States there is a push
to teach “Creationism” in schools.
Some say, "Oh, No!";
I say, "Yes, Yes".
It bends the defines of Pedagogy
and Education, to be sure.
There would be balance, I am sure
that proponents would thus ensure,
and agree that in so teaching,
there would need to be a study of:
* Epistemology (the study of Knowledge),
* the works of Teilhard De Chardin,
* what constitutes "the scientific method",
* historical developement of "The Bible"
(don't forget the printing press),
* the genesis of "Genesis"
(and the similarities in theme
with other, older religions).
Perfectly reasonable,
I am sure you would agree.
For reasonable people,
they must surely be
(untainted by politics
and creed).
Should “Creationism”
be taught in schools?
Oh, yes!
As an example of
deliberate delusion,
political interference,
cynical abuse of power
and media manipulation!
Oh. Yes!
