Julie Lewis is the author of How to Live Your Life, a new book channelled from Georgie in spirit which provides an insight into the reasons readers were brought to Earth, how to recognise those reasons and how to make the best of your time in this world.
Georgie is a spirit being whose aim is to provide advice and guidance to those currently on earth and it is through Julie that he is able to channel this information.
There are three reasons each of you have decided to spend your time on earth and that is to provide opportunities to learn, grow and enjoy yourself. If you are able to achieve these aims with an understanding that everybody’s life is different to your own, to live your life without judgement and with an open heart and if you can do this with kindness for other people then your time on earth will be an extremely well lived life. However, here are five points that will help with your journey: -
Learning: Before coming to earth a list of lessons were selected by you that you wished to achieve and these are presented to you throughout your life. They are the events that feel familiar and often give a sense of ‘here we go again’. A particular response is required and so it is important to respond in a way that is different to the previous occasion. It is difficult as you will find yourself some distance from your comfort zone and so a great deal of bravery is required. Once the necessary response is given, learning has occurred. It then needs to be assimilated and brought into your life and at that point growth will occur. Once these two events have occurred the lesson will never be presented to you again, so there is a great deal of benefit that can be gained by being brave and stepping outside your comfort zone.
Fun and enjoyment: given how frantic your lives are these days, enjoyment often gets overlooked and it is one of the things that can both energise and add lightness to your lives. Your lives are not meant to be one long drudge and it is important to find things that you enjoy doing and give you pleasure (provided, of course, no harm is inflicted on anyone or any living thing as that is unacceptable and will result in repercussions on your return home to spirit). Many of you are so wrapped up in the importance of work that its impossible to switch off and any time that is available is spent recovering from the exhaustion of your less than uplifting life and unfortunately this does not feed your soul. It leaves many of you with a significant level of dissatisfaction within your life.
Quiet contemplation; it is important to have a period each day where its possible to spend time alone, perhaps in meditation or a walk in the countryside. This allows us to connect with you and provide information that is beneficial to your life. If there is something you are struggling with then state that intention before you start and we will do our best to provide you with an answer, if not that day then within the subsequent few days. Ideally, this needs to be spent at similar times each day and preferably at the beginning, before your brains start firing off making lists and worrying about what needs to be done during your day.
Exercise: Some of you do this well but there are others whose lives have no great need for exercise. A hundred or so years ago it was a way of life but now greater efforts need to be made as the bodies you are provided with to undergo this journey need exercise in order to function well, they also need opportunities when they are able to get out of breath. With insufficient exercise it often means people return home to spirit somewhat earlier than they, or us, had hoped and opportunities to learn and grow are lost.
Community: Your world has changed significantly and many of you now live independently. This is not helped with the development of technology, which allows people to be connected to others, often while alone; we have no wish to minimise the value of technology but it is important a greater value is placed on being in the company of others. This may take the form of clubs where there is a shared interest or perhaps offer your time with the intention of benefiting others or yourself, it matters not, so long as more time is spent in the company of others.
It may feel overwhelming to suddenly install all this into your life, so perhaps try and be creative, as it may be possible to combine a number of these aspects, I will leave that for you to decide.
I would just like to wish you luck and success in achieving all you intend to achieve in this life.
