After much success with 'Daughter of Smoke and Bone' by Laini Taylor, Hodder & Stoughton are celebrating the UK paperback publication of 'Days of Blood and Starlight' with a fan-generated trailer.
The second instalment of the gripping fantasy trilogy, 'Days of Blood and Starlight,' have created a video that features clips of fans from across the world showing photos, videos and fan-art, as part of the series trailer. The fans that took part will also get to see their names appear in the next book in the series.
Not only can you enjoy the books and get enticed into another world, but you will also get to experience the wonders of the novel on the big screen, as the film rights to all three books have been bought by Universal Pictures.
'Days of Blood and Starlight' is a remarkable and fiercely imaginative read. The second book takes Karou’s story to an explosive new realm and proves that this trilogy is on course to become just as popular as the first.
Highly praised by many magazines and newspapers, Glamour.com say the ending is 'incredible,' adding: "[The twist] completely catches you by surprise, leaving you dying to find out what happens next."
Marie Claire were also very complementary: "Heartbreak, war and magic spells abound in this captivating romance. There’s slaying aplenty, but Taylor mitigates the violence with an unquenchable belief in the restorative powers of love and hope - and magic."
