Today, we have so much going for us. We have the knowledge to stay as healthy as possible. We know now, more than ever before, what makes us happy and what doesn’t. And we know that the happiest group of people are those over the age of 65!
For many of us our children have left home, leaving us with the free time to think about what we would like to do next. There are so many opportunities. Many women start completely new careers at 50 and over. Award winning children’s author, Barbara Spencer, is one of those women. She started to write children’s books at that age, went on to become an award - winning author, and has now turned her talents to writing for us ‘grown ups’.
