-
The moon waxes in fruitful silence,
And the eyes of August wane deepest blue.
On southern shores, I kiss the breeze.
And in the coal black night, return to you.
You touched my soul and found it lacking,
I touched your heart and pierced it true.
And through a tiny chink in your armour,
I stole a glimpse inside of you.
Your hard shell was worth attacking,
Piece by piece I ripped it apart.
And one by one, the links started breaking,
Until I nestled straight into your heart.
Two hearts entwined under the cobalt blue sky,
We walk the white pebble shores.
The southern breeze never hears the cry
Of my loneliness any more.
