Bollywoods Saif Ali Khan can be forgiven if he is suffering a serious case of the jitters, as his latest and perhaps most challenging role as a producer is about to be put to th test with the release this week of Love Aaj Kal.
The movie world is expecting great things from the former actor with the expectations from Love Aaj Kal running high. Saif Ali Khan has got a lot riding on this film, which is predicted to lift him to the top of the industry,
Love Aaj Kal has got a near perfect balance hot combining the new talents of Saif and Deepika, and the abilities of director Imtiaz Ali. Add a music score that's already set hearts pacing and most importantly a story that is both intriguing and compelling then the expectations are well founded.
Industry watchers predict Love Aaj Kal will 
be Saif's biggest opener ever, a position currently held by Race, though Saif says although its flattering, its also scary, because it's so unpredictable these days.
Saif move to producing came about when Eros said they wanted to back his decisions, so they put the finances in place and he agreed to make two films, happy to have more control over his films.
Saif also credits to his producer-partner Dinesh Vijan for his succesful move recently telling the press I was merely an actor on the sets, while Dinesh took all production-related calls, stating how both he and Dinesh think very much alike and the love of films they both share.
Love Aaj Kal opens Friday 31st July, Saif and Dinesh are already planning their next project -- Agent Vinod. along with an eye to begin shooting for Race 2.
