The series follows a team of forensic investigators determined to solve the most mysterious and unusual deaths by following the evidence. It stars William Peterson (Manhunter) as Gil Grissom, who heads the team of investigators at the Crime Lab in Las Vegas, and Marg Helgenberger (Erin Brockovich) as Catherine Willows, his second in command.

Each episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Season 8 Part 2 is packed full of action and intriguing cases that will keep the most diehard CSI fans on their toes.

Season 8 Part 2 starts with Grissom (Peterson) and his team delving into the world of illegal dog fighting to find out who is responsible for the death of a wealthy socialite.

Meanwhile, Warrick (Dourdan) tries to clear his name in the murder of an exotic dancer and Grissom and his team battle the flu when they are called upon by DDA Klein (Bedelia) to investigate the deaths of several key witnesses for a grand jury case against a dangerous Las Vegas gang.

The disturbing death of a 3-year-old girl has a huge impact on Catherine as she searches for clues to her murder. Brass and Nick get help from an unlikely source, an incarcerated criminal (Method Man), when investigating two murders that take place in the same apartment building.

Grissom and his team discover several victims who have green blood, leading them to the conclusion that their deaths are somehow connected. Season 8 comes to its nail-biting finale when Warrick is accused of murdering a famous Vegas gangster and even he is uncertain of his guilt or innocence.
