Kamal Haasan and actor-director Sarikas daughter, Shruti, is all set to make her debut as an actor.Shruti has sung and written songs for films, after completing her in Hollywood. She has done a playback number for a dance item by Mallika Sherawat in Dasavataram, a film being made by Kamal Haasan. Nishikant Kamath may direct the Madhavan-starrer, for which the 21-year-old Shruti has been signed. It is likely to be produced by Gnanam Films. The scenes involving Madhavan and Shruti are expected to be shot in Jan 2008.Shrutis debut album may be released before the shooting for the film.
