From Birmingham to Mumbai, British female rapper, takes hip hop to Bollywood British rapper Hard Kaur's whirlwind tour and promotion in India has brought her unique hip hop meets pop flavour with her signature Birmingham accent to the masses. She launched her debut album 'Supawoman' in India this month and is preparing to launch in the UK in November. The Indian subcontinent welcomed Hard Kaur and her unique sound has found its way across the entire continent from the tiniest Punjabi town to the largest city. Hard Kaur's presence and popularity has gone through the roof and she has been invited to grace the front cover of the first ever edition of Rolling Stones Magazine in India, a great yet also controversial feat for a female musician in the continent. Yet in true Hard Kaur style and as a nod to the under celebrated spine of India's community, she gave away of 5,000 copies of her album specifically for the rickshawallas who got her to and from performances. She has been representing the UK and has co-written the lead track 'Move Your Body' from the forthcoming Gangster flick, 'Johnny Gadaar' with Shanker, Ehsaan & Loy, the biggest and only names on everyone's lips in the Indian music industry at the moment. Notorious for their string of multi million grossing hits, their new age production and songwriting has made them the musical architects behind India's biggest smashes Kabhi Alvida Na Kehena, Don, Salaam-E-Ishq, Jhoom barabar Jhoon and Hey Babyyy.Hard Kaur also performed at this years MTV Fashion Awards and provided a live soundtrack for the collection entitled 'Gangs' by noted fashion designer Vikram Phadnis. She also signed a deal with Café Coffee Day , India's equivalent to Starbucks and her 'HardKaur Combo' will be available in all outlets from Delhi to Mumbai, Pune to Bangalore.
