John Abraham, also an awardee at the function, was supposed to receive the award right after Preity but the actress, who turned up with her boyfriend Ness Wadia, chose to leave immediately after getting her share. Considering the fact that she waited for almost two hours for her turn to receive the award, one would expect the actress to have had the courtesy to hold on to her chair till the fellow actor John Abrahan experienced his moment of glory, however, she had an excuse for her action that sounded rather lame. Excusing herself from the award cermony, Preity said that she had to rush to a shoot. Not perturbed by the actor's haste, John chose to receive the award with dignity and clutch on to his chair till the end. With controversies surrounding John, it seems he has learnt to deal with them, however, for Preity, we can't say the same.
