The 17th annual Star Screen Awards took place in India’s entertainment capital Mumbai last Thursday. The electrifying event was filled with Bollywood’s finest film stars. And also included sizzling performances from actresses Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu.
The sparkling film ceremony was hosted by Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his co-host actor Shahid Kapur.
Among many winners actress Katrina Kaif was delighted to bag the Best Female Actor Popular Choice Award, the star said on Yahoo news: "It's a very special event for me. If I am not mistaken, this is my fourth year consecutively that I am performing with the Screen Awards, and we always have a lot of fun. Stage is amazing and the crowd is always there to support you."
Other winners were host Shahrukh Khan, who scooped the Best Male Actor Popular Choice Award for his film, My Name Is Khan, and Salman Khan received the Best Male Actor Award for his blockbuster movie 'Dabangg.' The hit flick was the big winner of the night winning a total of six awards.
The ceremony will be televised globally on Star Plus January 22nd 8pm.
