After big disasters like Jaan-e-Mann and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, there's been whispers that she has been out of the acting game for too long, focussing more on her social life, by the looks of things... like IPL, being with boyfriend Ness Wadia etc.Now she's been heard saying that she feels a 'karmic' connection with Punjab since she's playing Punjabi characters in two upcoming movies. A girl from Punjab village in Heroes and a battered Punjabi housewife from Canada in Heaven on Earth. There is a lot of buzz saying that Preity has worked very hard to speak proper Punjabi in the film and she is particularly proud of 'Heaven on Earth' which is based on some real life stories of the women she met as part of her homework.
