The actor who has been off screen for a while now is celebrating the success of newly released movie Yamla Pagla Deewana. His last couple of movies have been flops but now he’s back and wants a fresh start in B-Town.
In this movie we see the Deol trio father and son team back. Sunny, Bobby and their father veteran actor Dharmendra play their real life roles on screen. The father and sons were last seen together in movie Apne in 2007.
Yamla Pagla Deewana is a comedy movie but Sunny Deol is keen to start concentrating on what he’s known best for - action flicks.
On Midday.com Sunny said: “I had veered away from doing what I was best at. But I have realised that doing movies like Ghayal is what I am best suited for."
He states that Yamla Pagla Deewana’s response, especially in the north has been extremely heartening: "I am being called the Rajnikant of the North. People have been kind to us. It is heartening. It is so important to have a franchise in film world and with Yamla Pagla Deewana we have achieved it.”
He reveals: “There is already talk of having a sequel. Acting with my father and brother has proved lucky for me."
