Slumdog Millionaire was once again voted Best Film at the weekend, winning two gongs at the Screen Actors Guild and the Producers Guild of America.
Danny Boyle's acclaimed film has become a surprise hit this year, sweeping the board at both international and UK award ceremonies.
Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, British Indian actor Dev Patel, and newcomer Freida Pinto collected the gong on stage, for the whole cast, presented to them by Antony Hopkins.
Anil Kapoor, who accepted the award on behalf of the 'Slumdog Millionaire' cast, dedicated the award to the slum children shown in the movie.
"They deserve this award. They set our performances," he said. "It's the children who've done it, not us," reports Masala.
