Shahrukh Khan has proved himself a hero by saving the lives of two children who were hit by a grenade attack in Srinagar by providing them with free treatment.
SRK heard about orphans Mudassar 5 and Amina 3 from Dr Ali Irani of Nanavati hospital and quickly donated money to the kids ward, which was setup by him in the memory of his mother.
The children's doctor, Dr. Ali, knew that their operation could be made free but there were other expenses to account for so he spoke to SRK.
The Bollywood star visited Mudassar and Amina and promised to see them again when they were healthy.
The children's cousin Zubair said: Amina keeps asking me if I have spoken with Shah Rukh and when is he going to take her to meet his daughter. She also plans to invite SRK’s children Aryan and Suhana to Srinagar so that they can all play on houseboats."
It's good to see a star use their fame and money for good.
