After a turbulent few years, Salman Khan is expected to fight back with a new movie release.
Salman has constantly made the news over the past three years, for his romantic liaisons and wild ways, rather than anything to do with his career. And he was also recently dubbed by the Indian media as Bollywood's most eligible bachelor too.
Since his 2005 film, After No Entry, all of his films have flopped, despite stellar performances from the actor. His appearance in Jaan-E-Mann, where he had a small role, did not impress at the box office and 2006 turned out to be another dud year.
His 2007 offerings didn't fair much better, when he appeared in a film with lots of other big names, called Salaam E Ishq but it too bit the dust. Khan's next role in Partner did very well, much to the relief of the actor, but his latest release Yuvvraaj has been thrashed as well.
The competition is being blamed for his poor performances at the box office, as he's up against , and Shahrukh Khan's labour of love, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which are all set for release soon.
