Salman Khan has upset Islamic clerics by celebrating Ganesh utsav
It's not just SRK in trouble, his sparring partner Salman Khan has now angered religious Islamic clerics by celebrating Ganesh utsav.Mufti Manjar Hassan Khan Ashrafi Misbahi, chief of Darul-Uloom Hijaziya Chishti issued a fatwa (a religious opinion on Islamic law) against Sallu and his family and encouraged people to boycott the Khan family. The Khan family celebrates Ganesh utsav every year but this time they apparently celebrated it with much pomp and fair, and also telecast a live performance of the aarti.Salmans father Salim Khan is furious by the fatwa. He said: "What is the locus standi of these people? Who are they to question peoples religious beliefs? "Why dont they issue such a fatwa against terrorists and terrorism, which is un-Islamic?
