Minissha Lamba
Minissha Lamba has dropped out of Rensil D'Silva's new film Jehaad as she refused to shoot intimate scenes with Vivek Oberoi.
Minissha had replaced Tara Sharma in the short role but had to drop out after it required her to perform intimate scenes with her co-star. Minissha was open to this but wouldn't kiss Vivek.
This didn't go down too well with the director so he spoke to the production house about having the actress replaced. When Minissha refused to reconsider the kiss so her leaving the film was the only option!
Tara said: "Rensil had given me a briefing but we hadn't spoken about the intimate or kissing scene at length. He knew I wouldn't be comfortable, and he did talk about working around it minus the kissing scene as the script really didn't demand it."
Jehaad stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor and is a romantic thriller set against the backdrop of terrorism.
