Indian Idol Crowns Female Winner
Sourabhee Debbarama was crowned the winner of Indian Idol 4 on Sunday night, in a tense grand finale.
The popular music show, which has been running for four years hadn't featured a female winner in all four seasons, but now that has all changed with Sourabhee taking the crown.
Sourabhee, who comes from India's North east belted out some amazing musical numbers on the show and beat other finalists - Bengali girl Torsha Sarkar and army man Kapil Thapa.
She walked away with a Rs.10 million contract with Sony TV and a car, as the public voted her a winner.
Bollywood stars John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh showed up to offer support for the finalists and to promote their new films.
