Deepika Padukone has shown her charitable side by refusing a fee for one of her endorsements.
Deepika is set to be the face of the Bengaluru Marathon but does not want to receive any payment as she feels strongly about this cause.
Her spokesperson said: "Deepika has a very strong affinity for sports having being an athlete herself, and someday hopes to have a foundation which will support sportspersons across India especially women who need special training but don't have the funds for it."
She wants to use her popularity to encourage more people to take part and instill pride in the city. Deepika will also flag off the run and might run herself."
