Deepika Padukone is to be the face of Force India Formula Team, after the chairman Vijay Mallya roped in the actress to be part of his team.
She had said that if she could find some time from her busy Bollywood schedule then she would love to be one of the team's 'speed divas' and travel around the world.
"I may make brief appearances during MTV's reality show, 'The Fast and the Gorgeous' and I'm looking forward to it," said Deepika as she unveiled MTV-Force India's 'The Fast and the Gorgeous' hunt for the 'speed divas' in Mumbai.
Following a huge hunt for these 'speed divas' four will be chosen from 20 contestants to be the cheer girls/pit girls, reports Masala.
Deepika, who is the daughter of badminton champion Prakash Padukone, loves sports and was particularly good at badminton in school.
When she was asked what her new project and badminton have in common, she simply replied "Speed."
