Imran Khan's performance in Jaane Tu...has won him some influencial admirtoers as the filmmakers of Bollywood are looking forward to working with the up and coming star. Karan Johar is said to be at the front of the que to sign up Khan after he apparently approached heartthrob Imran Khan to capture his signautre to play the part of a terrorist in his forthcoming My Name Is Khan starring Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh will play the lead role of a NRI who turns terrorism because of the difficult circumstances he faces. According to rumours, initially Ranbir was approached for the role, who for undisclosed reasons refused the offer now taken by Imran. Apparently when Johar saw Jaane Tu he was enthralled by Imran's work and at once decided to approach Imran for his next production My Name Is Khan. However it is heard that Imran is more cautious than excited to star alongside Baadshah of Bollywood and has been seeking advice from his uncle mamu Aamir.
