Big B and Preity Zinta may have embarked on their Unforgettables tour but when they return they would be taking center stage once again. This time for the silver screen version of their art-house film The Last Lear with an agreed release date for the Planman Motion Pictures' production, of 12th September. Based on Utpal Dutt's play 'Aajker Shahjahan', The Last Lear will be filmed in the English language and is directed by Rituparno Ghosh whose Bengali film Khela released this week. The production will star Big B and Preity Zinta, will co-star Arjun Rampal in a key role. Other notables in the starcast are Shefali Chhaya, Divya Dutta, Jishu Sengupta and Prosenjit. Stated to be one of the most challenging roles that Amitabh Bachchan has ever taken, the film features him in a part where he acts as an aging Shakespearean actor who takes on one of the bard's most challenging roles.
