The Camera loves Shriya" - Ashok Amritraj
When an actor of Ashok Amritraj's standing hands out praise we should sit up and take notice as it's not often nor lightly given.But he was certainly lavish with high praise for Shriya Saran, the heroine of his forthcoming film 'The Other End of the Line',Amritraj is all praise for the girl who stars opposite Jesse Metcalfe of 'Desperate Housewives' fame"Shriya will surprise everyone with her wonderful performance," Amritrajtold the press adding "The camera absolutely loves her,".
Directed by James Dodson, The Other End of The Line also stars Anupam Kher and Larry Miller of 'Raising Helen' and 'Pretty Woman' in key roles.
Sanjay Dutt and Aishwarya
The last time Sanjay Dutt and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared screen space was in Shabd, directed by newcomer Leena Yadav, which unfortunately sunk from sight at the box office, but the pairs onscreen chemistry worked well.
It must have impressed Mani Ratnam because he has cast the pair will be seen again in his next production which will also star Abhishek Bachchan.It has been reported that Sanjay was not the director's first choice which was Tamil actor, Vikram, but opted for Sanjay because he wanted a more famous face.
Not that Sanjay had any such doubts he accepted the film immediately when Mani asked, even rescheduling his dates, as well as walking out of a T-series's film to make way for Mani's film.The T-series film, a romantic comedy staring Sanjay and Kangana Ranaut, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.
Vipul Shah On London Dreams
Vipul Shah is set to cast a completely new leading lady opposite Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in London Dreams. Announcing yesterday that he had narrowed the choices to two girls, both of whom were completely new, only one has filmed previously.the choice will be made in the next few days apparently controversies regarding the Sikh community need sorting out.
Originally when Raj Kumar Santoshi was down to direct London Dreams, Priyanka Chopra was set to be the leading lady.
Shah has worked with only one leading man in all his films, which include Aankhen and Waqt and Namastey London, so this time he will be directing Salman and Ajay for the first time.
With trial direction will take place during the first week of July, Vipul intends to use the time with Salman and Ajay to establish a comfort zone with them for when principal shooting starts.
