Sparks flew at the Star Screen Awards when trouble flared between host Sajid Khan and best director of the evening Ashutosh Gowariker.
Sajid made comments on Ashutosh current hero Hurman Baweja and when he came on the stage to collect his award and Ashutosh clearly showed his displeasure to Sajid.
Sajid explained that the organisers had made the script but Ashutosh told him to shut up and further words were exchanged.
Afterwards Sajid Khan says, "Ashutosh Gowariker is a very dear and old friend of mine and he of all people should understand that Sajid Khan is an entertainer and it is his job to entertain audiences.
"I work for the channels and have been entertaining audiences and hosting awards for the last 10 years. If the channels repeat me, it's because audiences expect this kind of entertainment not just in India but worldwide!
Katrina Kaif also chipped in with: "I think It’s just light-hearted comedy and that it shouldn’t be taken too seriously. It’s the entertainment industry, after all."
