And after bulking up and getting a six-pack for his action film, Ghajini, he's now back to looking trim, while he films his new movie.
Shooting for 3 Idiots in a university in Bangalore, Aamir is reportedly having the time of his life on set, mingling with the students with ease.
In fact, having lost the weight, he revealed that his nephew Imran Khan envies him, as Aamir has been exercising regularly, "but it's nothing rigorous", he told One India.
He also said he enjoyed playing badminton, tennis and chess with many of the students there. It seems to us like Aamir might be enjoying playing some younger roles, if these are the perks!
