Akshay Kumar has sparked an obscenity row after his appearance on the catwalk at Lakme Fashion Week.

A social worker Anil Nair has submitted a written complaint against the actor, his wife Twinkle, the designer and the organisers of the show to the Vakola police station, urging police to book them for indecent, vulgar and obscene behaviour. Nair even submitted clipping and photographs of the event.
He said that they under section 292 related to sale of obscene objects and section 293, related with sale of obscene objects to young persons.
The police are investigating the situation and a senior police official said that evidence is being examined before registering an FIR so that the case can have a chance in court.
