Singh is King has apparantly sent out the wrong messase to young Sikhs
A petition alleging that Sikhs were shown in an objectionable manner in the film "Singh is King", has demanded that appropriate action be taken against the films cast and director. The petition, which was filed with First Class Judicial Magistrate Narendra Kumar Jain on September 8, demands appropriate action against starcast of the film Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and writer director Anees Bazmi along with 17 others. Advocate Inderjeet Singh Bhatia, who filed the petition, told reporters that in the film some of the scenes were presented in an objectionable manner which has allegedly hurt the feelings of Sikh community. Citing examples, he said that Akshay Kumar playing the role of a Sikh was shown in french-cut beard and short hairs which will send a wrong message to the youths of the community.
