Husband and wife duo, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Bachchan are going to sing together on an upcoming film.
It's long been known that they have wanted to sing together, so this will mark the first occasion Abhi-Ash will duet.
The movie in question is set for release in 2009, and the buzz surrounding the film is already starting to build, with music maestro A.R Rahman composing the tune.
The song was written for Mani Ratnam's Lajjo, but since that then got shelved, Rahman decided to use that same composition for Ravana. However, rumour is that if the film hadn't been shelved, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor would have in all likelihood sung that song.
Rahman said, "Some of the songs in Lajjo were generic, so we have translocated them into Ravana. Such things happen once in a while. No regrets. There is no time for that. Regret is boring. Mani's new film is a new genre for me. I've done nothing like this before. So that's exciting."
