The 'oldest man who ever lived' has died at the age of 127.
Natabay Tinsiew passed away in the African nation of Eritrea earlier this week and his family are now calling on the Guinness World Records to recognise him as the oldest person to have ever lived.
His grandson Zere Nataby has called for Tinsiew to be recognised as a record-holder and has given evidence of documentation showing his birth as well as his baptism in 1894.
His family even claims that he is older due to their belief that he was baptised 10 years after his birth when a priest came to his remote village.
Zere said that "patience, generosity and a joyful life" were the secrets behind his grandfather's remarkable life.
He added that his grandfather was an "extraordinary man" who was both caring and hardworking.
