A woman rescued a kitten without realising it was actually a baby bobcat.
Tennessee woman Jill Hicks was out driving when she spotted the little feline running across the road, and so she decided to step in and save the animal and take it home.
After a friend made her realise the kitten - which she nicknamed Arwen - was actually a bobcat, she contacted For Fox Sake Wildlife Rescue.
She told WDEF-TV: ''I was going to go home from dinner, give her a bath, put her in the bed with me and when we decided she was a bobcat, I was like I probably better not do all of that.''
Rehabilitator Juniper Russo confirmed the organisation will care for the animal until she can be released back into the wild, which will most likely be in March next year.
