A woman has opened her home to 97 rescue dogs during Hurricane Dorian.
Amid the storm - one of the most powerful to ever hit the Bahamas - Chella Phillips has welcomed almost 100 homeless and abandoned dogs into her Nassau house.
She told ABC News: ''It was either leave the dogs on the street to fend for themselves...or do something about it.
''I just want these dogs to be safe. I could care less about the dog poop and pee in my house.''
In a Facebook post on Monday (02.09.19), Chella gave an update as she wrote: ''We are alright after a stressful night. All services are down, all TVs are fried from the lightnings so no more cartoons for the sick dogs until we can purchase new ones.''
