An Australian woman discovered a koala in her Christmas tree.
Amanda McCormick was shocked to discover the animal amongst the baubles and tinsel at her Adelaide home.
The Adelaide and Hills Koala Rescue team were called out to investigate the incident and had thought they were being pranked at first.
The group added on Facebook: "But no, a koala desperate to get in the Christmas spirit had wandered into Amanda's house and decided it wanted to be the fairy on the Christmas tree."
Rescuers snapped the koala in the Christmas tree and explained that curiosity may have got the better of the animal.
The team told 9News: "Koalas are very curious creatures and if the opportunity presents itself, they will investigate."
