A petrol-driven wheelbarrow has broken a speed record by travelling at 36 mph.
Kevin Nicks built the rapid three-wheeled vehicle for a motoring event in North Yorkshire, where people attempted to break speed records in unconventional ways.
Nicks claimed he felt like he was going to die after a gust of wind nearly threw him off the wheelbarrow.
He said: ''No one has ever done something like this before - no wheelbarrow has flown down at the speeds I was going. It's absolutely thrilling and bonkers to drive it.
''It was a bit breezy on the runway with the wind really trying to kill me - but that's all part of the fun.
''You get an adrenaline rush, it's simply fantastic.''
