Climate Cymru BAME submitted the report to the Welsh government on Wednesday (06.11.24) and wants it to come to fruition in a bid to make green spaces more inclusive.

The idea was given to the government as part of the country's 2030 target to put an end to racism under its Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan, but it does not go into detail on how it will tackle the issue.

The proposal has received lots of criticism on the social media platform X.

One said: "Just when you think Wales can't get any more ridiculous, Climate Cymru BAME (where to even start with that?!) advises dog-free zones 'to make the outdoors less racist.'

"I'm absolutely sick of this nonsense!"

Another wrote: "There’s not much you can say about this. Pure insanity."

A third penned: "People really need to get a bloody grip. One of the most pathetic things I've read."
