Women who frequently wear heels at least two inches high are more likely to be happy with their sex lives.
Chinese researchers have suggested that those with higher heels are happier in the bedroom as the shoes stimulate the pelvic floor muscles, which are integral to female sexual satisfaction.
Scientists from Fudan University in Shanghai question over 1,000 women about what types of shoes they wore and found that two-inch heels were the most effective because they tilt a woman's pelvis enough to make her muscles contract repeatedly.
The biggest impact was seen in those who wore the shoes for at least eight hours a day.
The study also found that shoes with no heels or very high heels did not stimulate these muscles in the same way.
A strong pelvic floor can boost blood flow during sex and increases the chance of a woman reaching orgasm.
