A miniature bidet has been created to protect bees.
Victorian Plumbing has created the tiny bidet to help fund the Save the Bees appeal ahead of World Bee Day on 20 May.
The bidet is accompanied by a tiny bathroom and is fully equipped with a walk-in shower and bathtub. It measures less than an inch long and is fit for a queen bee.
Sales of the bee bidets will go to the British Beekeepers Association to help fund the Save the Bees appeal – which delivers extensive research into the dangers the insects face and how the problems can be tackled.
Joe Pascoe, Chief Marketing Officer at Victorian Plumbing, said: "Bidets for Bee Day will help raise awareness of the great work that the British Beekeepers Association are doing. Bees significantly impact our environment and ecosystem; we have a duty of care to make sure we are protecting them wherever possible. Over the last five years, the sales of adult bidets have increased tenfold and range in price between £100 and £1900 so hopefully, we can raise a nice amount for this cause."
