Men who take Viagra could be damaging their eyesight.
Researchers have found that those who use the blue pills to enhance their sex lives are nearly double as likely to suffer eye problems that could result in blindness.
Scientists analysed data on 213,000 men taking medication for erectile dysfunction and found that users of four common sex drugs - Viagra, Cialis, Levitra and Stendra - saw their risk of developing a serious eye condition.
Experts fear that the drug impacts on blood flow to the eye with lead researcher Dr. Mahyar Etminan, warning that there is a "strong link" between drugs and issues with eye health.
Dr. Etminan, from the University of British Columbia, said: "These medications address erectile dysfunction by improving blood flow, but we know that they can also hinder blood flow in other parts of the body.
"So although our study doesn't prove cause-and-effect, there is a mechanism by which these medications could conceivably lead to these problems."
