A Ukrainian refugee found in the police raid on Andrew Tate's online sex business has defended the controversial influencer.
Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Bucharest last week as part of an ongoing investigation into rape and human trafficking claims.
However, 22-year-old refugee Lisa - who lives in Tate's house with his personal assistant and two female Romanian TikTok stars - has denied allegations that the residents were involved in pornography.
Lisa told The Times newspaper: "Everything the police have said is not true.
"I know them (Tate and his brother, Tristan). The girls who live here do not have to do anything. They are good girls."
Romanian prosecutors claim that the brothers recruited the women on social media platforms and persuaded them to travel to the Bucharest compound.
It is alleged that the women were lured with the promise of romance but were instead forced to perform in online pornographic videos under violent threats.
Lisa suggested that Andrew - who is known as the "king of toxic masculinity" for his views on women and sex - puts on an act for his social media content.
She said: "What the police are saying, I know it is untrue. They don't have any proof. There are not any video chats. Andrew acts like that, in a bad way on the videos, for show. He is not like that in real life."
